Drug use
It is a breach of tenancy to use drugs within a Soho Housing property, if you use illegal substances within your property you are putting your home at risk.
We encourage residents to report drug use to the police, the action we can take depends on the type of substance used and the frequency. We may need to ask residents to provide a formal witness statement to support tenancy action.
If the behaviour has been on-going, please complete our ASB diary sheets with dates and times of the incidents and send these to your Housing Officer.
We will work closely with the police and the local authority anti-social behaviour team when there are reports of drug use in our properties.
Drug dealing
This is a criminal offence, and you need to report it to the Police immediately. You must tell them if you are concerned about your safety.
Once you have reported it to the Police, please contact your Housing Officer with the incident report number or crime reference and the officer’s name. We will then be able to agree the next steps with you and the Police.
