Unsanitary conditions or hoarding
Unsanitary conditions and hoarding are health and safety issues, hoarding in particular can be a severe fire risk.
If you are concerned about unsanitary conditions or hoarding in one of your neighbours properties, report this to your housing officer. This will usually lead to the housing officer arranging a visit to the property to assess the situation and any necessary support that needs to be put in place. This could include a referral to the London Fire Brigade for a home visit or an assessment by an appropriate support agency.
If you are concerned about your safety or the safety of someone else, you must contact the Police.
