Calls claiming to be from Soho Housing asking for WhatsApp Details

We have received a number of reports from residents about scam calls where the caller claims to be from Soho Housing, asking for their WhatsApp number.

These calls are not from us. Soho Housing would not contact you in this way, and we will never ask you for your WhatsApp details over the phone.

What to do if you receive a call like this:

  • Do not share any personal information, including your WhatsApp number.
  • Do not engage with the caller.
  • End the call straight away.
  • If you want to check whether a call was genuine, call our main line on 020 7557 7400.

If you are ever unsure if a call, email or message is from Soho Housing, please contact us directly and we will be happy to check it for you.
