4. Adapting my property to my needs?
If you require adaptations to your home such as a wet room or adapted kitchen, we will refer you to an occupational therapist to make sure we get this right. Please contact us by emailing housing@sohoha.org.uk and we will be able to provide further information
Once we receive a referral from the local authority, we will work with them to deliver the required adaptations to your property.
Once approved by the local authority, the cost of the adaptations will be covered by them and you will not have to pay.
Soho Housing carries out minor aids and adaptations such as grab rails, handrails and lever taps. We accept these requests directly from residents, please contact us on housing@sohoha.org.uk or by phoning us on 020 7557 7400 to request this, and we will get these installed for you.
Should your current property be completely unsuitable to your needs and it not be possible to adapt, you can find further information about your options to move here.
